Hot Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Device

FED pyrotechnic aerosol generating agent is a solid chemical mixture
composed of an oxidizer, a reducing agent, a burning rate controller, and an
adhesive. After being activated by heat, it undergoes an oxidation –
reduction reaction to form a large amount of aggregated fire
extinguishing aerosol. The metal salt particles in the aerosol absorb a large
amount of heat, thereby reducing the flame temperature
and suppressing the combustion reaction. At the same time, under the action
of heat, the gasified metal ions and cations in the fire – extinguishing aerosol
gas can undergo an affinity reaction with the active groups in the combustion,
repeatedly consuming a large number of active groups, reducing combustion
free radicals, and efficiently absorbing the combustion free radicals in the
flame, achieving a chemical inhibition effect. The N2 and CO2 in the fire –
extinguishing aerosol can reduce the oxygen concentration during
combustion. Through the combined action of multiple fire – extinguishing
mechanisms such as physical and chemical means, the purpose of
extinguishing the fire is achieved. The aerosol formed by the solid particles
wrapped in the fire – extinguishing gas can remain suspended for a long time
and spread to every corner, achieving high – efficiency fire extinguishing.
